Story: <br />
During post war time on Earth weird creatures appeared from deep underground. They seeked and collected knowledge of human past, could enchant remains of technology and prepared for upcoming war with machines alongside with humans. They could summon spirits of lore and logic, helping friends or damaging foes. Sopromat is one of their champions, the one with largest book in the tribe.<br />

P.S. &quot;Resistance of materials&quot; is one of the most complex engineering disciplines in technical universities.<br />

Original title was &quot;Why Santa isn't big on innovation&quot; but it was changed. <br />
The image was created during winter break. Simple materials and lighting were used on purpose. I tried to direct viewer's eye around the picture using bright big spots of color.<br />

Autodesk 3D Studio Max 9 was used for base modeling and Skymatter Mudbox for details. Posed using Character Studio and rendered using Mental Ray - sky/sun system.]]>

One of ancient greek myths talks about Sisyphus - man who was punished by Zeus with eternal job of rolling  a heavy rock uphill where it would always roll back.<br />
Base model was made in 3dsmax, details sculpted in zbrush, mental ray used to render. Original idea was to have realistic picture but i ran out of time]]>
